Please find here attached the Call for Papers for our conference « Love and Lenses: Photographic Couples, Gender Relationships, and Transatlantic Networks in the Long Nineteenth Century » that will take place on October 12-13, 2023 at the Maison Française d’Oxford and at the Rothermere American Institute in Oxford.

We are keen to programme papers across multiple disciplines, including (but not limited to): History, Art History, American Studies, and Gender Studies.
