Ev\u00e9nement AMERICA2026<\/p>\n
La naissance des \u00c9tats-Unis bouleversa les relations que les Am\u00e9ricains, d\u00e9sormais ind\u00e9pendants, entretenaient avec les territoires de leur voisinage plac\u00e9s sous la souverainet\u00e9 de puissances europ\u00e9ennes. Les Am\u00e9ricains durent, d\u2019abord, repenser leurs rapports avec les colonies britanniques d\u2019Am\u00e9rique, dont ils \u00e9taient dor\u00e9navant s\u00e9par\u00e9s ; ensuite, d\u00e9velopper de nouveaux \u00e9changes de diff\u00e9rents types avec les autres colonies europ\u00e9ennes et, enfin, projeter leur puissance dans un cadre continental au sein duquel la pr\u00e9sence europ\u00e9enne demeurait importante. L\u2019ambition de ce colloque est de pr\u00e9senter diff\u00e9rentes approches pour comprendre ce moment charni\u00e8re de la fin du XVIIIe si\u00e8cle et du d\u00e9but du XIXe si\u00e8cle, \u00e0 l\u2019origine de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique moderne.<\/p>\n
