Le s\u00e9minaire de l’\u00e9quipe CIMMA (Constructions Identitaires et Mobilisations dans le Monde Anglophone) du laboratoire IMAGER de Paris-Est Cr\u00e9teil accueille vendredi 8 mars de 14h \u00e0 16h Amy Wells, pour une s\u00e9ance intitul\u00e9e "Craftivsim, what\u2019s the point? Piecing together women\u2019s rights". Voici un r\u00e9sum\u00e9 : "Although craftivism in the United States has existed since the American Revolution, it has gained in visibilty and popularity these last years, in large part due to social media and the challenging political landscape. In this presentation, we will be working through what is the "point," or objective, of craftivism projects in the US, discussing how, or even if, we should try to measure their impacts." Amy Wells est maitresse de conf\u00e9rences \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 Caen-Normandie, membre du laboratoire ERIBIA, sp\u00e9cialiste des f\u00e9minismes \u00e9tats-uniens et de leurs expressions artistiques et litt\u00e9raires. Elle travaille actuellement sur le craftivisme, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire l\u2019emploi l\u2019emploi comme forme d\u2019activisme de pratiques artisanales socialement cod\u00e9es comme f\u00e9minines (tricot, crochet, broderie).
