Dear colleagues,<\/p>\n

On November 10th, at 2pm, A19 is inviting Matthew Redmond for a talk entitled \u201cBetween Worlds: Revolutionary Time in American Literature.\u201d
\nPauline Pilote (UBS) will be respondent.<\/p>\n

The seminar will take place in room 829, Olympe de Gouges Building, Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 and on Zoom.<\/p>\n

Matthew Redmond is a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at Universit\u00e9 de Lille. He holds a PhD from Stanford University (Living Too Long: The Politics of Lifespan in American Literature). His research explores the intersection of temporality, republican politics, and literary culture in America throughout the long nineteenth century. His work has appeared in English Literary History, Nineteenth-Century Literature, and Textes et Contextes, among other sources.<\/p>\n

Please also note that on December 8th (Room 830, Olympe de Gouges Building, Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9\/ Zoom), Prof. Steve Rachman (Michigan State University) will give a talk titled \u00ab\u00a0Pathoregimes: Poe, Pestilence, Space and Time.\u00a0\u00bb Sari Altshuler (Northeastern Univ) will be respondent.<\/p>\n
