It explores the diaspora\/s and intersects themes such as communities, identities, transnational movements, solidarities, nationalisms but also displacements and settlements, culture in the widest sense of the term, belonging and citizenship, kinship, religious ritual and symbolism. <br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/><\/span><i class=\"\"><span class=\"\">African Diaspora<\/span><\/i><span class=\"\"> encourages the submission of original, empirical, theoretical, and conceptual and critical articles based on rigorous research from any discipline in social sciences and the humanities. It accepts a variety of articles including different writing registers, from the more classic to more experimental tones. Contributions in English and French are accepted. <br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/><\/span><i class=\"\"><span class=\"\">African Diaspora<\/span><\/i><span class=\"\"> regularly produces thematic issues and invites guest editors. A developing arts-oriented strand encourages suggestions and submissions for artistic involvement: this includes visual materials, interviews, ethnographic fiction and poetry. These will also receive peer-reviewed attention. It is the journal&rsquo;s policy to promote the publication from a range of scholars, including early career, senior and independent scholars and to provide a platform for discussion and exchange. <br class=\"\" \/>All correspondence to <a class=\"\" href=\"mailto:afdi@brill.com\">afdi@brill.com<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><br class=\"\" \/><span class=\"\" style=\"color: #000000\"><span class=\"\" style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span class=\"\" style=\"font-size: medium\">&#8212;&#8211;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" align=\"justify\"><span class=\"\" style=\"color: #000000\"><span class=\"\" style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span class=\"\" style=\"font-size: medium\"><span class=\"\"><br class=\"\" \/><\/span><i class=\"\"><span class=\"\">African Diaspora<\/span><\/i><span class=\"\"> est une revue interdisciplinaire semestrielle, \u00e0 comit\u00e9 de lecture, consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 la diaspora africaine vue comme un espace fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 par les circulations, les contacts et les interactions entre les cultures, les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s et les histoires africaines et afro-descendantes. Il explore les diaspora\/s, et aborde des th\u00e8mes tels que les communaut\u00e9s, les identit\u00e9s, les mouvements transnationaux, les solidarit\u00e9s, les nationalismes mais aussi les d\u00e9placements et les implantations, la culture au sens le plus large du terme, les appartenances et la citoyennet\u00e9, la parent\u00e9, les rituels et le symbolisme religieux. <br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/><\/span><i class=\"\"><span class=\"\">African Diaspora<\/span><\/i><span class=\"\"> encourage la soumission d&rsquo;articles in\u00e9dits, empiriques, th\u00e9oriques, conceptuels et critiques bas\u00e9s sur des recherches rigoureuses dans toutes les disciplines des sciences sociales et humaines. Elle re\u00e7oit une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d&rsquo;articles aux diff\u00e9rents registres d&rsquo;\u00e9criture, des formes les plus classiques aux plus exp\u00e9rimentales. Les contributions en anglais et en fran\u00e7ais sont accept\u00e9es. <br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/><\/span><i class=\"\"><span class=\"\">African Diaspora<\/span><\/i><span class=\"\"> publie r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des num\u00e9ros th\u00e9matiques et accueille des \u00e9diteurs et \u00e9ditrices invit\u00e9.e.s. Un axe sur les arts en cours de d\u00e9veloppement, encourage la proposition et la soumission de travaux artistiques: cela comprend des documents visuels, des entretiens, de la fiction ethnographique et de la po\u00e9sie. Ceux-ci feront \u00e9galement l&rsquo;objet d&rsquo;une \u00e9valuation par les pairs. La politique de la revue est de favoriser la publication de chercheur.e.s divers, en d\u00e9but de carri\u00e8re, confirm\u00e9s ou ind\u00e9pendants, et de fournir une plateforme de discussion et
